They say it takes a village. This is ours.

Wildhood School is a nature-based, caregiver-attended early childhood enrichment program for little ones ages 0–5 at Benevolence Orchard in Boulder, Colorado.

Here at Wildhood, childhood is honored, imagination is nurtured, and belonging comes first.

Our days together are woven with song, movement, storytelling, process art, nature exploration, and the kind of community where both children and caregivers can truly belong.

Above all, we seek to create a deep sense of safety and connection from which each unique child can explore, play, and grow freely.

We believe young children learn best through play, wonder, and meaningful relationships. Rather than rushing early academics or pressure to perform, we cultivate curiosity, creativity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning. We trust that these early years are not a race to the next stage, but a season to hold with great care.

Follow Our Evolution

Children's legs and feet hanging from a tree branch outdoors in a forest setting.
A young girl sitting on the ground outdoors, hugging a chicken, with a blurred background of trees and a person standing in the distance.
Three small structures made from sticks and twine, each with a large green leaf attached, placed on a white surface.
A young woman with long dark hair, sitting outdoors during autumn, is holding a sleeping baby on her lap. The woman is gently smelling a small branch of flowers held by a little girl standing in front of her. The woman is wearing a beige blouse, and the baby is wrapped in a blanket. The little girl has long red hair and is wearing a plaid dress. The scene is warm and tender, set in a natural environment.
